5 Tips for Adoption of a Change

Preparing for a change is one thing, but making sure that everyone who is expected to use it actually DOES is quite another.

This video describes FIVE (5) Tips for Adoption of a Change - by the very audience who matter - EVERYONE WHO IS EXPECTED TO USE THE CHANGE.

If you don't support your end users with adopting the new change, you may as well flush the money you spent on the change down the drain.

Five Tips for Adoption of a Change

Here are the Five Tips:

  1. Prepare end users to be able to do their job during the change (crossover with Knowledge)

  2. Formalize the DATE for the change and celebrate the milestone!

  3. Create and monitor PRE-DETERMINED and MEASURABLE Success Criteria for Adoption of the change

  4. Provide extra "Hypercare" support proactively for the immediate term after the change

  5. Ensure an ongoing Sustainment Plan is developed and Communicated before ending the Hypercare or Adoption phase
