ERP Implementation Roles & Responsibilities

Who do you need on your team to deliver a successful ERP Implementation?

We are often asked about this, and have put together the following table to help companies best prepare for a successful implementation.

The team at the Vendor (or VAR - Value Added Reseller) also has Roles & Responsibilities to play. When both teams align expectations at the outset of a project, it tends to be a much smoother process.

At AJC, we discuss expectations up front, starting at the Kickoff Meeting, and continuing through the project.

Below is a sample ERP Implementation Roles & Responsibilities.  Actual roles, responsibilities, and time requirements will vary depending on the specific project and company needs.

FTE = Full Time Employee (40 hours per week)

Note that Project Champion % time is blank. This is likely to be someone also on the Core Team, though if you bring in additional Champions later, the amount of time will vary greatly from week-to-week. When training is heavy, it could be up to all their working hours; but off-weeks may only be 2-3 for meetings or helping with communications.
