Sally Thomsen has over 10 years of experience as a leader in operational excellence, process improvement, and project management. Sally earned her undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College and began her career in the legal field as a corporate bankruptcy paralegal. In 2012 Sally transitioned to a role at Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods in the Finance/Legal Department as a Business Analyst and Regulatory Affairs Manager. Ultimately, Sally found her skills and interests suited operations management and she took on the role of Director of Operations for Bob’s Red Mill. In addition to managing extensive corporate growth, new product introduction, and equipment acquisitions for an Operations Team, Sally was at the forefront of establishing Bob’s Red Mill’s continuous improvement program. Prior to joining AJC, Sally brought her process improvement and team development skills to Northwest Confections as Director of Research and Development. Throughout her career, Sally has employed various change methodologies while leading organizations toward growth.
Sally has extensive training in lean and agile methodologies and has a certificate in Project Management from Portland State University. She also is certified in the ADKAR method of Change Management holds the Prosci Change Management certification, and is a Certified Working Genius facilitator.
